MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!
Bring the family out and enjoy another fun year of CV summer concert series! Each concert provides a great opportunity to:
relax on a Friday night after a long week visit with friends meet new neighbors grab a yummy meal from one of the food trucks…all while enjoying a bit of fresh air. Hopefully Mother Nature will work with us a bit better than last year….keep your fingers crossed!
This year we will have a total of 5 concerts, each scheduled for a Friday night from 7 – 9 (or 9:30ish) pm. WEATHER DELAYS If/when there is a chance for inclement weather during our scheduled concerts, the social committee will make a “go/no-go” decision by 4pm the day of the concert. This will allow us to notify the band as well as the food trucks.
Please be patient with us in making these tough decisions. Know that our number one concern is the safety of those attending.
If a concert is cancelled due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule for the following night or the next Friday night. Rescheduled dates will be posted on our website so please check for confirmed dates.
(NOTE: We’ve added each band’s website so you can find out more, including their song list.)
We’re kicking off our 2015 concert series with a “Tribute To 60’s British Rock”!!! The British Invasion describes a time in the 1960’s when audiences all across America were singing and dancing to music from across the Atlantic. Music from all of the English groups. From The Animals to The Zombies, it’s all there: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Manfred Mann, The Monkees, Spencer Davis Group, The Yardbirds, Gerry and The Pacemakers, The Dave Clark Five, The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, and more..
One of Raleigh’s top live party bands, playing hit rock, R&B, and funk dance songs from every decade in rock.
A local 5 piece band that is very energetic and interactive with the audience. Expect a great mix of old school jazz, originals, and fun covers.
Energetic and interactive party band that will get you out of your seat and on to the dance floor…seriously! Styles include rock, dance, pop, oldies, classics/southern rock, and country.
– Wide category of songs that likely would be rated as vintage – fine quality and memorable to those listening, whether the song was released this year or earlier.
Hope you’ll plan to come out and support the bands!
