There is a concert Friday, May 5th with “Daddy’s Alright”, featuring the raw, soulful sounds of Dorian West (yes, the cheese guy from the farmer’s market!).
Influenced by a wide variety of music genres, Daddy’s Alright offers up high-energy classic rock, soul, pop and dance/party music from the 60’s to the present. Their main focus is playing 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s crowd-pleasers. This will be the first concert of our CV Summer Concert series and promises to be a lot of fun, so don’t miss it! Daddy’s Alright were a big hit last year and promise to be even better this year.
The latest word on food trucks. Baguettaboutit (http://www.baguettaboutit.com/) and Andia’s Homemade Ice Cream (formerly The Freezing Pointe Ice Cream Cart – http://www.andiasicecream.com/marketing/formerly-the-freezing-pointe) are scheduled to be there, so please plan to come out for dinner and support the food trucks that come to our neighborhood.
As always, we’ll be setting up on the great lawn by the big gazebo. Food trucks usually start arriving at 6pm. The concert runs from 7-9pm. The weather looks to be a little cool but beautiful by Friday evening. Be sure to check the Carpenter Village website and emails for any updates.
Hope to see you there!
