Dear Homeowner:

On behalf of the Carpenter Village Board of Directors, we would like to extend our community’s warmest greetings. Over the coming months we look forward to meeting you whether it be walking down the streets, swimming at the our pool, enjoying our many amenities or participating at a community activity.

For background, our community is governed by a board of volunteer directors elected by the community to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of Carpenter Village. Additionally, the Board is also responsible for maintaining members’ compliance with the established covenants and bylaws of the Carpenter Village homeowners association. If you haven’t already, please take the time to read through the Bylaws and Covenants documents you received during the home purchase process.

This community website is the official communication channel between the Board of Directors and our membership. Upcoming activities and events, announcements, a community events calendar, a discussion forum, pool information and documents, architectural review forms, and volunteer committee information can all be found there. Take a few minutes to visit and familiarize yourself with the website’s resources and get to know your community and neighbors. The website provides ready answers to most of the questions homeowners have.

Their general number is: (919) 461-0102 or you may use the contact form on this page to send a message to Omega Management. Jennifer Wichowski is the community manager assigned to our association. She should be contacted for service issues on community property, items regarding specific bylaws and for any questions regarding your annual homeowners’ dues assessment. Additionally, the individual members of our Board of Directors can be contacted through the email links and phone numbers below. Remember to register on the Discussion Forum section with a valid email address to insure delivery of important communications from your HOA Board and to participate in community related conversations.

As a homeowner, you have some ideas on how you’d like to improve your property. We encourage you to refer to the Architectural Guidelines document before considering any permanent alterations to your property. An Architectural Review Submission must be filed with Omega Management for consideration by the Architectural Review Committee.

Attendance at Board of Directors Meetings:

All Board of Directors meetings are considered “Open” to any and all homeowners. The Board both welcomes and encourages attendance by homeowners at any and all Board meetings. Homeowners should feel free to attend and observe the Board proceedings or to request to make a presentation to the Board on any item of concern. In addition, the first 15 minutes of each meeting will be an “Open Mike” type scenario, where homeowners can address the board on any issue you wish to bring to the board’s attention.

However, the board requests that if you are interested in making a presentation to the board as an agenda item, please notify Omega Management at least seven days in advance, noting the subject to be addressed, so that the topic may be placed on the meeting agenda. This advance notification will permit us to ensure adequate seating arrangements and to allow for an appropriate amount of time on the agenda for topics to be presented. We will place guest topics at the beginning of the agenda in order to accommodate those who do not wish to remain for the remainder of the meeting to leave after their presentation.

Financial information regarding specific homeowner dues, fees or other confidential information may be discussed during Board meetings. Guests will be requested to leave the meeting prior to the start of discussions of confidential information.
